ESPN New Hampshire and Apple Therapy have teamed up for the 2016-17 school year to search for the most unique, talented, and skilled high school senior student-athletes to be honored monthly for their achievements.

Each month, one senior boy and girl will be selected and interviewed on ESPN New Hampshire.

All the monthly winners will be invited to a banquet at the end of the school year where we will name the Apple Therapy Student-Athletes of the Year!

One senior boy and one senior girl will win a $2500 scholarship to help pay for their college education.
Requirements: Must be a senior at a New Hampshire High School, play a varsity sport, and have at least a 3.0 GPA

Bedford’s Hussain, North’s Masseur Named Apple Therapy Student Athletes of the Month

Both are now eligible for $2,500 scholarship

Nashua, NH – Shahrukh Hussain, a senior at Bedford High School, and Gabrielle Masseur, a senior at Nashua North, have been named the Apple Therapy Student Athletes of the Month for November.

Hussain was a captain of the Bulldogs state-champion football team, and has obtained a 3.6 GPA. Bedford Athletic Director Bill Whitmore said Hussain was “a true leader of the program.”

Masseur is a three-sport athlete at North, having played field hockey, lacrosse, and ran track for the Titans. She is also the National Honor Society Vice President and has a GPA of 3.75.  Exeter’s Gillis, Merrimack’s Jolly Named Apple Therapy Student Athletes of the Month

Both are now eligible for $2,500 scholarship

Nashua, NH – Patrick Gillis, a senior at Exeter High School, and Elise Jolly, a senior at Merrimack, have been named the Apple Therapy Student Athletes of the Month for October.

Gillis is a four-year member of the Blue Hawks football team, and is a member of both the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. He plans to pursue a degree in engineering.

Jolly is a member of the Tomahawks volleyball team, and just set the state record for most blocks. She has also run track, swam, and played basketball for Merrimack. Jolly has a GPA of 4.38. South’s Vermette, Pinkerton’s Rogers Named Apple Therapy Student Athletes of the Month
 
Both are now eligible for $2,500 scholarship
 
Nashua, NH – Ryan Vermette, a senior at Nashua South, and Hannah Rogers, a senior at Pinkerton Academy, have been named the Apple Therapy Student Athletes of the Month for September.
Vermette is a member of the Purple Panthers’ cross country team, and was the winner of the 2015 Cross Country Outstanding Performance Award. He hopes to pursuit Sports Journalism.
Rogers is a captain of the Astros Cheer team, and has been a part of six state championship teams. She also has a weighted GPA of 4.0.
