During an offseason plenty full of roster transactions, the Patriots add some depth at the running back position, resigning LeGarrette Blount to a 1-year-deal, according to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald.
LeGarrette Blount re-signed with the Patriots this morning. He's back.

In his third season as a Patriot, Blount ran for 703 yards in 12 games after a hip injury ended his season.
With the shifty Dion Lewis returning from a knee injury after tearing his ACL last season, Blount will provide the Patriots with a between-the-tackles option as well as a power back.
Expect the Patriots to throw the ball alot in 2016 with the additions of Martellus Bennett and Chris Hogan, whether Blount gets 200 touches, or 75, I’m sure Bill Belichick will find good use for the 7-year-NFL-veteran.
