Alexander Khokhlachev Recalled From Providence

Boston Bruins GM Don Sweeney announced today, November 3, Alexander Khokhlachev has been recalled from Providence (AHL). Khokhlachev will likely play with the team tonight, as they take on the Dallas Stars at the TD Garden.

The former 2011 second round draft pick of the Bruins has skated in 4 games with the team, making his NHL Debut April 13th, 2014, against the New Jersey Devils

The 5’10”, 181-pound Moscow Russia Native has played in 10 games for Providence this season, where he is third on team in goals with 4 and first in the AHL with 9 assists, where he is tied for a league lead in points with 13. In total, KoKo has tallied 147 career games in the AHL scoring 42 goals, with 74 assists for 116 points.

Khokhlachev was seen alongside David Krejci and Loui Eriksson in the morning rushes at the Garden this morning, so expect Khokhlachev to be put in a good opportunity to succeed.
